Dan’s love for lighting design started early, growing up in Michigan and tagging along with his dad to job sites for his father’s lighting design business, which he started in 1996. By the time Dan was 16, he was already leading an installation crew and designing and installing landscape lighting systems on his own.

When Dan moved to Massachusetts in 2020, he decided to pursue his education at Northeastern University. Balancing school with his entrepreneurial drive, he launched his own business, Dan Goddard Lighting Designs. His passion for lighting design has only grown stronger over the years, and he’s been fully dedicated to creating beautiful landscape lighting projects ever since.
